Delete your CaloAfrica account

You can permanently delete your CaloAfrica account and all of its data at any time, either yourself in the app or by emailing us.

Delete your account in the app

1. Sign in to CaloAfrica.
2. Open the menu and tap Settings.
3. Under Account, tap Delete my account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Permanently delete my account.

Deletion happens immediately and you are signed out. If you want a copy of your data, use Export my data in Settings first.

Request deletion by email

If you can't sign in, email privacy@caloafrica.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm the request and delete your account and its data.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, goals, and preferences
• Every food diary entry
• Your weight and body measurement history
• Water tracking history
• Saved meals and favourites
• Barcode scan and meal-scan (photo) history, including uploaded photos

Deletion is permanent and there is no recovery period. Copies may persist briefly in encrypted backups until those backups are rotated out in our ordinary backup cycle, after which they are permanently purged.
